This Regular Plinko is our shortest but he has double the amount of spots to label at the bottom of the board vs. our larger Plinko’s. Label the bottom of the board with point values or with prizes (Win a Raffle Ticket, Win a Free Drink, etc.). Make sure to check out the Large and XL size too! Our Regular Plinko is our smallest Plinko, yet it still a very popular choice. Even though it is our shortest and cheapest, people still love him because there are 14 spots on the bottom, which is double the amount of spots as our other Plinko’s! Plinko Rentals are such a popular choice for Fundraisers as they are just so simplistic.
Plinko is a classic game taken from the popular game show called “The Price is Right”. It began with Bob Barker in 1983 and then Drew Carey took over the show 30 years later. Over the years, people started making their own Plinko boards to have at Fundraisers. Growing up, the Owner of Jack of all Spades named Carrie used to religiously race home to watch The Price is Right at 11am each day. Plinko was always her favourite game to see. Then fast forward to 2007 when Carrie attended her friend’s Stag & Doe, and her favourite game that they had there was the Plinko. It was this experience that inspired her to start her own business. You can say that Plinko started it all!
We love it because of how simple it was, and that no skill is required. You drop a chip and watch it trickle down – that is it! We also love that every spot can be a winner. So even when you technically lose and do not win something big, you still get a raffle ticket. Plinko Rentals are such a crowd pleaser that is fantastic at Stag & Doe’s, other Fundraisers, kids parties, and even at Casino Nights!

We have some recommendations that will help you understand how this game is played. We supply you with 3 chips per Plinko game, but you do not need to use all 3 per round if you don’t want to. Make them as enticing as possible so that people will try many times, not just once. Here are some ideas:
Win 1 Raffle Ticket (tape an actual raffle ticket to the particular spot)
Win 1 Grand Prize Ticket (tape it to the board)
Win an Arm’s Length of Raffle Tickets
Win 1 Penny Sale Ticket Sheet
Win a Drink Ticket (tape an actual drink ticket to the particular spot)
You Lose (although it is fun for every spot to be a winner – your choice)
Go to Penalty Box for 1 Minute
Free Putt at Golf
Get Another Plinko Chip
Win a Shot or Jello Shooter
Get a Kiss from the Bride
Win a Prize off Prize Table
The good news for you, is that we provide you with a template to print out, based on the size of Plinko you chose. Once you order the Plinko and pay for your order, you will see the template is emailed to you to download. So just print that out, and eventually tape it to the bottom of the board. Customize it however you want, or use our suggestions sent in the email. It is just a simple spreadsheet but it is the exact dimensions of the bottom of your board.
How to Play using Point Value System
An alternative way to run the Plinko is to label the spots a point value, such as what you see below. Then after people drop 1, 2, or 3 chips, they can add up their scores. You could say that if you got 20 points, you would win a Free Drink for example – look above for some more examples of prizes to be won. The reason we labeled two spots 0 points below, is to give the illusion that the middle spot is the hardest to get. That is what they do on the Price is Right! Note that all spots are equally easy/hard to get, so there is no real strategy:

How to PROFIT with This Game
We have some excellent tips on how to profit with this game, if you are using it at a Fundraiser. We suggest that you charge your guests $2 for one chip or $5 for 3 chips. You can either label the bottom with prizes to win, or you can make each spot a point value (see 2 tabs above this one). You can up the price a bit if you have an amazing gift to give away. All of the spots are equally hard to get so do not make the mistake of making the middle spot “win $100”! On the Price Is Right, they make both spots on either side of the middle spot Zero points, which makes people believe that the middle is the hardest to get. We send you a template for labeling the bottom of the board when you book.

A common question is to ask how heavy a product is, so that people know how many others they may need to bring to help lift this into their vehicle. With this product, one person is all you need! It is fairly light weight so you should be fine.
Plinko's History - Price is Right
CBS said,
“The game’s name is simpler than you might think. When Bob Barker unveiled the newest addition to The Price Is Right family on Jan. 3, 1983, he also revealed how they came up with the name. They called the game Plinko, he said, because of the “plink, plink, plink” noises the chips make as they bounce from peg to peg.”
