Golf games are very popular to have at events, and would be considered a staple at a Stag and Doe. You often see putting types of games, and now more prevalent are chipping games. But have you ever seen a chipping game use a birdie? Ever heard of a game called Birds the Word? NOPE! That is why we love this game so much, because it is very unique and we can almost guarantee that nobody else has seen it before, unless they were at a party that rented our game. It is challenging for your guests, but not too hard that it deters them from trying in the first place. We love how it folds up for easy travelling too and is super light weight. Give it a try at your next Fundraiser or Party!

How to Play This Game + Video in action
We have some recommendations that will help you understand how this game is played. Each player will receive 1-3 birdies, and after each try, you will total up their score. You are obvioulsy aiming for the red target zone which would be worth the most points. The next best thing is to at least get in the black zone, in which they would receive points still but a little lower. If your guest misses completely, then you can either give them 1 point for trying, or a negative number. After they have taken their turn, add up their points and the person that has the highest points will win something at the end of the night. In the event that there is a tie, have a tie breaker tournament at the end of the night.
How to PROFIT with This Game
We have some excellent tips on how to profit with this game, if you are using it at a Fundraiser. We suggest that you charge $5 for 3 birdies, or maybe just $2 a birdie. Add up their points and see who gets the most! Perhaps you can keep track of who get the top 4 scores and later hold a tournament between just the four of them.
What Kind of Vehicle do I need?
Any vehicle in Green is what we recommend you bring. You will notice that they are all highlighted in green! Birds the Word will fit into any vehicle, so bring whatever you have!

How Heavy is this to Transport
A common question is to ask how heavy a product is, so that people know how many others they may need to bring to help lift this into their vehicle. With this product, one person is all you need! It is very light weight so you will be fine.
How we came up with the Name of the Game
All you youngin’s out there have probably not heard this song before, unless you watched that episode of Family Guy. CLICK HERE to see what we mean!
But back in 1963, a band called “The Trashmen” created a song called “Surfin Bird – Bird is the Word”, and it was an instant hit! Here is a sneak peak – Think it’s annoying? Well it is! But the guys dance is hilarious and worth a quick peak. Skip over to 1:08 if you don’t have time to watch the whole thing 😉
