Hockey Shootout is a fun game where your guest has to aim for one of 5 targets. They are aiming for the middle if at all possible, as this target is typically worth the most since it is the most difficult. But you can label the other spots “win a drink” or “win a raffle ticket” or a point value. Expect a lineup of people wanting to have their turn! Our Hockey Shootout game is a classic, because come on… hockey is not going out of style! This easy set up net is perfect for parties that want to have a competition between their guests. Because it is competitive based, it works great at Fundraisers! People like to compete against their buddies to show them who has the most skills. There are 5 targets to aim for, so you can get creative at what you want to label them as. The only thing we will caution you about with this game, is to ensure you have the space for it. You need to allow some space between the net and the hockey player. If you have a large venue, you are good to go with our Hockey Shootout Game!

We have some recommendations that will help you understand how this game is played. The net has five targets: four targets are in each corner and one target is in the middle. The middle target is typically the hardest for people to achieve; the bottom corners are the easiest, and the top two corners are tricky but probably not as hard as the middle target. See below on what we recommend you label the targets. For playing, we recommend that give each player 3 pucks to shoot with, and note that these pucks are foam pucks – not the hard plastic ones that easily ding up walls and hurt people! We also supply you with a left and right stick for them to choose from. Get a lineup of people going to create some competition between players!
How to PROFIT with This Game
We have some excellent tips on how to profit with this game, if you are using it at a Fundraiser. We recommend that you charge $5 for 3 pucks, so they have 3 chances of hitting the desired targets. Perhaps you can assign each target with a point value, and after shooting three pucks, add up their score. Then see who has the most points at the end of the night and they would win one grand prize. Or they have to get over a certain amount of points to get into a tournament that you are holding later on that night. Or maybe you have a bunch of smaller prizes that you can give away if they get over a certain amount of points.
Alternatively instead of using the point value system, you can label the targets to say “win a drink ticket” or “win a raffle ticket”, etc. Label the net to say whatever you want and whatever works with your theme!
What Kind of Vehicle do I need?
We have highlighted what NOT to bring in Red as we doubt it will fit, and we highlighted our recommended vehicle(s) in Green. Of course this is only a guideline but we are just giving you our honest opinion based on what we have seen over the years. We do this day in and day out, so have a really good idea at what will work:
Compact Car
Large Car
Small SUV
Large SUV
Pick up Truck

How to Prepare for Pick up
We have highlighted in Green what you may want to bring with you so that you are well prepared. You probably don’t need a blanket for this one but of course if you have one in your vehicle already it won’t hurt. And the only reason we say bungee cords is if it is loose in your truck bed – this is very light weight and it will fly away if not anchored down or it will need something heavy sitting on top of it.
Bungee Cords
Tie-downs
1 Blanket
How Heavy is this to Transport
A common question is to ask how heavy a product is, so that people know how many others they may need to bring to help lift this into their vehicle. With this product, one person is all you need! It is very light weight so you will be fine.
